No originality

The film is itself boring and of course Sajid Khan as a director iscreatively blank as he had only copy and paste to paste tooffer.......working on a original script or offering somethingcreatively new is not his cup of tea. I tried watching this movie butcan't be able to watch more than 10 minutes as it is so dumb as uselessmovie to watch. Also the music of the movie is no creativity as thesong "Papa tau band" music is lifted from the English movie"Hop"..........No storyline.....No great acting......and even the movieis low on entertaining values......for me it is a not to watch movie. Idon't understand why Bollywood waste so much money, time and resourcesto churn out these type of movies....is there any type of race to churnout 100 - 200 movies every year.....

Intermittently hilarious.

With as many as 12 stars, 1 chart buster and 2 popular songs, SajidKhan is back with what he does best – tickling your funny bone. So howdoes he manage to do it?Housefull 2 is based on the basic principles of economics – demand andsupply. Demand and supply for Jolly – Ritesh Deshmukh. The petrifiedson of billionaire J.D (Mithun Chakraborty)2 Jolly's are required for the warring brothers Chintu (Rishi Kapoor)and Daboo's (Randhir Kapoor) daughters, Asin and Jacqueline so thattheir fathers can get one up on the other. 1 Jolly for Zarine Khan, histrue love. 1 Jolly for father J.D, who wants his son to marry Parul(Shazahn Padamsee) old friend Batook Patel's (Boman Irani) daughter.Total Jolly's in demand: 4. Supply: 1. So how do you supply 4 Jolly's simultaneously? Housefull comes up witha Jolly good solution. The solution brings along plenty of mix ups anda few more cover ups. While these mix ups and cover ups play hide andseek with each other, it offers for some hilarious moments (dependingon the brand of humour your enjoy). The smart-alecky, tongue in cheekdialogues add to the fun.Though in between the few hilarious scenes and 2 enjoyable songs yourattention wanders. That might be because the emotional scenes barringthe climax don't get you involved and there's not much depth in thestory. Given that it's a sequel to Housefull, there should be no reasonto expect anything else from the movie. The scenes are brought alive by some crackling performances by thestalwarts Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Johnny Lever. AkshayKumar is lovable. Randhir Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, John Abraham andRitesh are good too. The leading ladies Asin, Zarine look more incontrol than Jacqueline. Shazahn does not have much to do. Sajid Wajid's music is excellent and they give us a chartbuster inAnarkali Disco Chali aptly sizzled by Malaika. Papa Toh Band Bajaaye isalso enjoyable besides lending itself beautifully as a central theme.Manoj Soni's cinematography and Radhika Sangoi's editing is good. Inthe writing department Sajid Nadiadwala's story is ordinary but FarhadSajid's dialogues and Sajid Khan's + Tushar Hiranandani's screenplay issuperb. Sajid Khan is known to have a great sense of humour and he optimises itcent percent in writing and direction. From his 'Kehne mein kya harzhai' days to Housefull 2, he continues to make us laugh. Would love tosee Sajid try a new genre, but if not, enough people would look forwardto Housefull 3. Watch for: Some good laughs. Watch out for: Zany dialogues, Akshay Kumar & the madcap confrontationsbetween Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor. Don't watch if: Just laughs don't satiate your movie experience. A TRULY Entertaining Fare.

Eros International and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment's Housefull 2is a comedy about how four friends get married to four different girls.The story of Housefull 2, penned by Sajid Nadiadwala, is entertainingand gives a lot of scope for comedy. The screenplay (by Sajid Khan,Tushar Hiranandani and Sajid-Farhad) capitalizes on this and createsmany situations where the audience finds itself laughing out loud.Despite the preposterousness of the whole plot, the audience is engagedas the drama moves at a swift pace. On the flip side, a few gags – likethe one involving the snake and the crocodile; the one where Max,Sunny, Heena and Bobby end up on an island – seem rather over the top.Also, the pre-interval portion drags a bit and bores the audience.Another rider: Housefull 2 does not pose to be an intelligent film, andas such it might not appeal to a section of the audience which looksfor other things in a film. A few action scenes, inserted just for thesake of it, fail to impress.Sajid Khan delivers on his promise of anentertaining package. Although he could have made the drama sharper,and hence, more entertaining, one cannot really complain much about hisnarrative style. If u like Madcap Comedies and if u wanna spend a GOODtime in those 2 Hours in the Cinema Hall, then HOUSEFULL 2 is One Moviewhich u should Surely Watch............ A STRESS BUSTER Movie.

An Average movie

I was waiting for this movie for long and movie didn't fully disappointme. This is an average movie but dialogs are good. One more thing youcan see the movie with full family. There is no vulgarer scene in themovie. Charactores are many four heros, four heroines and there fourfathers. But still Sajid directed it so well that it didn't seemsoverloaded. point to Sajid for that. Songs are great and sexy mustwatch. If we talk about acting then every actor got a small part of themovie. so there was not much of acting shown scene for most of them.But Akshay has done the same with his old movies typical Akshay comedy.Asin is good but same no bid work for her in the movie. ShazahnPadamsee is looking hot in the song. Story is not there as this is onlyto put all characters in one film. so they make adjustment. then somenew character came and again some adjustment and so on........ But thisis the movie you can watch you will not be bored with the movie. fullmovie is full of comedy not the best but in some place it is good. Soenjoy the movie.

Jolly Bad

Sajid Khan should try his luck in Las Angeles. He made an Above Averagewhich turned out to be a Block Buster than came Housefull which wasplain average but again a block buster. Now with housefull 2 his wishto make disgusting movie is fulfilled. But again a super hitThis is the most confusing movie ever in world cinema. It makes acomplete mockery of cinema. Their is no plot in the movie to discuss,but again this a brainless comedy. Now is this a comedy movie. Itdoesn't make you laugh in fact it is an acid test for your funny bone.If someone can laugh in this movie than he should not watch greatcomedy or he will die laughing. Performance wise Akshay did the great job but lines are so bad that hewon't make you laugh. John is not good at comedy but he tried his best.Ritesh is as he is. Shreyas is a good actor and he deserve better role.Pity here is that Rishi Kapoor who has just given an outstanding DoDooni Chaar and Agneepath is given a worst character to play. RandhirKapoor is an average actor but again his character is similar toRishi's. Mithun is brilliant but he is not their to make you laugh.Boman has 10mins role. Sorry but no need to tell about actresses. I wonder when will Sajid deliver flop as I want him to come back tohosting shows. But no time soon as he is delivering blockbusters. Thismovie is no better than some c grade comedies like Buddha mar Gaya orChatur Singh.

Horrible

The much anticipated movie turned out to be the real disappointment. Ido not understand what these people are trying to project from suchmovies ? I went with an anticipation of light comedy without usingbrain but since the movie made my brain go numb, I took a nap inbetween. Too many loose strings and plots and sub-plots and sub-plotswithout any relevance among themselves lead to ultimate confusion andin between I was searching for some laughing material which never cametill the end.All the talented actors have been wasted under poor direction fromSajid Khan. No continuity, no screenplay and even the songs suck.Do not waste the money, even if you have plenty ! Because your braindamage will be more expensive affair.

Worst Movie of a Lifetime

Rotten tomatoes would had been a better option than Housefull 2.If Housefull was crap then Housefull 2 is a crap train.Its full of isolated non sense stuff that transcends the requirement ofa filmmaking.Nowadays producers know a secret formula....Skinshow and India's everincreasing population. They know that India is such as place wherethere would never be any investment for hockey fields bu rather a wholelot of money will be thrown away to set up multiplexes to welcomemovies like Houseful 2 & Players.Even though its way short of everything except non sense India is thatcountry who would even stampede in order to run to theaters and get anearly seat to watch these movies.I would go for N/10 - Non Sense

An overall good entertainer

Wouldn't quite go as far as some people giving it 9 and 10, butcertainly wouldn't say it's as bad as the first Houseful - that wasawful! this film had a much better star cast, and a proper story line.It does get very confusing, but the comedy throughout keeps the filmgoing, however I feel it could have been trimmed down by 20 mins or so.Rishi Kapoor is first rate throughout the film as is Akshay Kumar. Thisis one of his best performances in a long time. Shreyas and Riteish arefine in their roles, but John for me doesn't suit his role. Out of theladies, Asin does well, Jacqueline doesn't get much dialogue scope butlooks gorgeous on scree, while Zarine and Shazan do a decent job intheir smallish roles. Now to the dads, I've mentioned Rishi being theshow stealer, Mithun is quality in his serious image, Randhir is overthe top and Boman is too funny!Overall the two Sajid's have done pretty well.

Excellent Movie!

Yaar What a movie. This is the best movie of 2012. My Stomach is paindue to I Laugh Very much during the movie. Akshay's acting is justGREAT. Then comes, JOHN ABRAHAM - never seen him doing this type ofROLE before, I must say he is very talented! There comes Ritesh andShreyas - they did marvelous job for small period of time :D Femaleactors supported a lot for this movie and again they rocked the movietoo :D Rishi and Randhir kapoor were total-funpack-brothers in thismovie, the nonsense they made, they did and they do are like JUST TOOENTERTAINING! Here comes, Ranjeet sir who just took movie to a newlevel in just small ROLE.. Yes thats right! Short ROLE! But the best :DStory is well written, direction is perfect for bolly-comedy-movies,songs are catchy, casting is PERFECT and locations were unbelievable!GREAT CHOICE :D I missed Aakhri pasta (Chunky Pandey) a looot in thismovie! His role was just for short period of time :(

Housefull 2:The Dirty Dozen do not provide laughs but does entertains!

Sajid Khan's new venture Housefull 2,a sequel to 2010's Housefull maynot be a laugh-riot but seriously,is better than its prequel.Housefull 2 had the potential to be a laugh-riot movie but fails!Itjust entertains! Story:- Housefull 2 tells the story of four fathers Daboo,Chintu,JD and Batook(Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Boman Irani)respectively,their four daughters Heena,Bobby,Parul and JLo (Asin,Jacqueline Fernandez, Shazahn Padamsee, Zarine Khan)respectively andfour prospective sons-in-law Sunny,Max,Jwala and Jai (Akshay Kumar,John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade)respectively. Eachfather wants his daughter to marry the richest son-in-law. Eachdaughter thinks she is marrying the richest son-in-law. Each son-in-lawis pretending to be the richest son-in-law. However, none of thesepeople can stand each other and all of them are under one roof, in onehouse.As they enter the house, a catchy title 'Jolly' gets attached totheir name and thanks to a confusion, the four fathers begin to thinkall four sons-in-law are named Jolly. The confusion only gets bigger…The film's first-half offers too many jokes,but most of them fallflat.The python and crocodile scene might tickle your funny bone at thestart but gets tedious later on.Ditto for the scene when Akshay Kumaris introduced.The film's second hour is the real gem.It offers so many laughs butstill fails to impact the Laugh Out Loud factor.Be it the scene wheneach father-in law takes their son-in-law to JD's house or even theclimax.The direction is average.The screenplay is half-baked.The dialogs are okay.The editors could have trimmed the movie making it short and sweetrather than long and tedious.The music is fine.The cinematography is good.The locales of London have been capturedwell.Performances:- Out of the four males,Akshay Kumar is excellent.Followedby John Abraham who is fine.Ritesh Deshmukh is good.Shreyas Talpade'scharacter may not have got enough length but still registers an impact.The four females,Asin,Jacqueline,Zarine Khan and Shazahn Padamsee donot get much meaty role but do make a good job.Out of the four fathers,Rishi Kapoor,Mithun Chakraborty and RandhirKapoor stand out.Rishi and Randhir are cute,while Mithun Chakraborty isexcellent.Boman Irani is funny but gets less screen space.Johny Lever and Chunky Pandey as Aakhiri Pasta are trulytremendous.They rock the show!Ranjeet shines in a cameo.Malaika Arorasizzles.Vindu Dara Singh is wasted.All in all,Housefull 2 may not be a laugh riot-but does entertain.I amgiving it a generous six on ten.Watch if you must otherwise wait forthe television premier!

Best Comedy (in league of No Entry and Welcome)

Housefull 2 is fantastic comedy movie and Sajid Khan has delivered whathe said - a nice entertainer movie. and for those people who call thissilly - wake up guys this was meant to be silly and stop expectingevery movie to be Kahaani and Paan Singh Tomar.Direction - Sajid Khan has delivered at last after 2 average efforts inheyy babyy and housefull. The way he gave importance to each characterin movie is worth applauding.Story - Well story is nothing new - typical nonsense but entertainingnonsense not irritating nonsense like ready.Music - Music is one weak point. Music is good but it couldn't touchhigh standards of sajid's previous movies and also akshay's last moviedesi boyz. Anarkali Disco Chali wasn't that great.Acting - Akshay Kumar is fantastic in his role as aaeeey sunny. Afterirritating nonsense in his last movies akshay finally delivered. Johnsurprised with his comedy. Old actors rocked (Mithun, Rishi, Randhirall were fantastic). Boman Irani had small role but he was good too.Heroines were there to add glam quotient only. Ritesh and Shreyas weregood too although not their best. Johnny Lever was hilarious especiallyin climax. Chunky Pandey was good as aakhri pasta. Vindu Dara Singhannoyed.Overall, A great family entertainer (8/10)

pathetic!! that's the word and you will know why when you will see it.same old bollywood story,cheesy lines and item numbers. with hugestarcast they may have believed to do good business but plot itself isso pathetic and unrealistic that even the starcast wont help. actingperformances are poor and most actress had little or no scope foracting. they should work more on content of the film than wasting moneyon starcast and shooting locations. this is another akshay kumar'swannabe comedy movie.he should be proud of making a record of so calledcomic movies.I couldn't wait till interval let alone till the end of movie.

Housefull 2 = Entertainment...!!!!

Housefull 2 is a solid entertainment....Akshay Kumar steals the show, he's back with a bang with his firstmovie of the year.... He's stunning, fabulous and his signatureexpression was outstanding, loved to see him in his original avtaar, ofbeing 'kaminaaa'...!!!!John is improving movie by movie...Ritesh & Shreyas have done a good job...Asin & Jacqueline were good, rest of the two don't have much to do...The four fathers were brilliant...Johnny Lever & Chunky Pandey were average...Ranjeet's cameo was wow...All the songs were good...Akshay Kumar's entry was awesome..This one is better than Housefull...The scene with Python and Crocodile was stretched...I would've rated it 6/10 but it's Akshay Kumar who changed my mood...He was mindblasting...I'll rate it 6/10...

A Pretty Mindless Comedy

I hated house full n the only reason for watching this movie was freetickets and a weekend on which i had nothing interesting to do.. whereshould i start..?? the movie has no plot..it looks like the sajidkhan's idea of a plot is to just fill the screen with many people andask them to shout at their top of the voice.. as the movie says the socalled "Dirty Dozens" aren't impressive at all.. rishi kapoor after ariveting performance in Agneepath disappoints by doing such a sillyrole..and the worse acting belonged to john abraham.. his cheesy oneliners were pathetic..someone has to say to him he isn't good atcomedy..while akshay was good in parts and the other two werepassable..coming to the actresses, they had less to do with acting butmore with skin show.. they were only two positives of this film chunkypandey and the veteran johnny lever.. a lame movie that doesn'tdeserves to be watched on big screen..

It's a Non-sense Entertainer! But loved it.

Housefull 2, What an Entertainer! Housefull 2 is funnier and betterthan the previous one, Housefull. Combo of 4 Heros, 4 Heroins and 4Papas is outstanding. Housefull 2 is full of non-sense comedy, but youwill love being non-sense during the movie when whole theater will belaughing with you. Pranks and punches in the movie will hold you duringwhole movie!Akshay Kumar is back with his original Avtaar in his first movie of theyear. John, Ritesh and Shreyash is also very good in the movie. Rishiand Randhir Kapoor as a greedy father have given brilliant performance.Mithun Chakrobarty has also leaved unforgettable impression as angryfather to emotional one. All actresses Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez,Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee were also fabulous. Johny Lever andChunky Pandey were average. And last but not the least, charm ofHousefull series Batuk Patel urf Boman Irani is awesome as usual butthis time with a smaller role in the movie.'Pappa Toh Band Bajae' and 'Anaarkali' are also impressive andsituational songs.

What an ENTERTAINER!!!

Housefull 2 , as the title says , theaters were also Housefull. Peoplewere coming out laughing , few were on the floor holding their stomach.And i , was waiting there thinking - "oh my god , let me in fast ." So the plot is like this - "Housefull 2 opens in London with a siblingrivalry between Daboo Randhir Kapoor who is a impermissible but given apart of his father's business and Chintu Rishi Kapoor who is bitterlyresentful.This bitterness seeps across the house as Chintu's daughterHeena Asin Thottumkal and Daboo's daughter Bobbie Jacqueline Fernandezat each others throats.Each brother wants to marry his daughter toTycoon JD's Mithun Chakraborty son Jolly Ritesh Deshmukh who is in lovewith full-figured model JLo Zarine Khan but is too terrified to tellhis daddy, who is striding across his English castle in a starcheddhoti, a tycoon who smiles frostily only at Vishwas Patil Johnny Lever.Marriage fixer Aakhri Pasta Chunky Pandey brings an eligible match toChintu, but playing a vinegary uncle with tang, Kapoor insults thefather - with offensive 'African jokes' - landing him in hospital. A Good entertaining comedy, a very good option over the weekend..

The story of Housefull 2,by Sajid Nadiadwala, is entertaining and givesa lot of scope for comedy. The screenplay capitalizes on this andcreates many situations where the audience finds itself laughing outloud.the audience is engaged as the drama moves at a swift pace.Several sub-plots in the screenplay like Max and Sunny's enmity; thesecret behind JD's real identity; JD and Batook Patel's (Boman Irani)friendship also provide for ample doses of entertainment. The dramatakes a real good turn in the second half, when all the characterssomehow land up in JD's palatial mansion. Here, Sunny improvises by thesecond to make sure that he and the other boys get the girls they wantto be with. Even as this is happening, Patil (Johny Lever), anassociate of JD's, is so flummoxed that the audience is in splits overhis poor condition. To their credit, the screenplay writers have madesure that in spite of the confusion in the drama, the viewer is neverconfused. The tracks of two brothers (Chintu and Daboo), two friends(Max and Sunny) being reunited, will appeal to the family audiences.The dialog's, written by Sajid-Farhad, are very good for the most part.All the stars have performed really well, Akshay was really good and sowere Ritesh and John. The whole point here is to keep you entertainedfor the film's 150 minute odd duration and Sajid Khan does exactlythat. Filled with hilarious sequences, right from Akshay Kumar'sintroduction to the last wedding scene, Housefull 2 delivers unlimitedlaughs. The story and the situations that the characters findthemselves in, has plenty of scope for comedy and Sajid Khan exploitsit to the fullest. While some scenes like those involving the crocodileand snake, were way too over-the-top, action scenes seem to have beenforced in. This film for sure will end the series of flop film's forAkshay Kumar.

Excellent sequel to Housefull

This movie was an excellent sequel to HOUSEFULL (2010) with the samecast Akshay, Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Randhir Kapoor, RiteshDeshmukhThis movie is just like the first with confusions and tricking peopleThis is the first film of brothers Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoorpaired for the first time It has also been 25 years since Rishi andMithun were last seen on the silver screen.Akshay and Asin are the best hero and heroine out of the film but youhave expectations from a multi-starer Ritesh Deshmukh is funny ShreyasTalpade is alright Mithun, Rishi, Randhir have done extremely well Theactress can get confused apart from Jacqueline Fernandez Johny Lever,Chunky Pandey, Ranjeet have done well

No Brains, simply out and out entertainment...

Houseful 2 – CATCH IT (B+) Houseful is an out and out entertainment,the story and situations are not jell well together but still itmanages to make your roll on floor laughing. Akshay Kumar finally inhis best foam after 3 years of disastrous movies & performances. JohnAbraham, Reitesh & Sheryas are hilarious and their timing with Akshayis perfect. Asin and Jacqueline are the main lead and looked gorgeousalong with Zarine Khan and Shazahn Padamsee. Mithun, Rishi and RandhirKapoor & Boman Irani were perfect. All the girls and boys have terrificchemistry and looked great together. Songs and cinematography isrefreshing. Overall great entertainment but mistakes in story andscreenplay are apparent.

Housefull, its the boardi saw in the theater, this movie will not bore u for a second, i didn'texpected much from this movie, but after watching the movie i will sayits one of the best movie of the year. Everyone did their best.........From John Shreyas Riteish to Rishi and all..... But Akshay stole theshow...........
