Story Line

Plot Summary:

Official 2009 release on Universal, only being released in various Latin American countries. The title translates to Pride, Passion, and Glory Three Nights In Mexico City. From Metallica.com In June of this year we were fortunate enough to return to Mexico City for three sold out shows at Foro Sol Stadium and with 155,000 of you there over the three nights, we knew it would be extra special. So we asked our friend Wayne Isham to join us with a film crew and the results of that crazy, magical, most memorable long weekend are shown here on this single disc pressing. Includes 18 tracks performed over the three nights.

Metallica At Heir Best

It is a fantastic mix of music with songs off of every album except St.Anger. Great mix of Death Magnetic and classic tallica tunes. Theaddition of Robert Trujillo in combination with Hetfield getting soberhas made the band sound much better than they did throughout the 90's.These guys don't show their age on stage and kick maximum ass. Tearinginto songs like Disposable Heros and Dyers Eve and pulling them offlike it's 1986. My only real complaint is excessive fan footage. Itseems like there are as many shots of audience members screaming asthere are of the band. I realize the director wants to capture the liveexperience, but I'm watching this to see Metallica. It also suffersfrom the MTV generation rapid cutting. It's hard to find a shot thatlasts more that a second. But if you can ignore that, it's a greatMetallica experience. There's plenty for die hard old fans who onlylike KEA-MOP and for the new fans there's a good amount of DeathMagnetic. Metallica rules.
